National body challenge! Let's do it!

The contents below are from a fellow dog advocate and blogger Ashii - thanks for sharing Ashii!

[We often forget the saying "You are what you eat" - especially when it comes to the general health of your canine or feline companion.] You can make your own food choices, choosing an apple over a donut, or grilled chicken over fried... but your dog or cat can't chose, so all we can do is offer them the best we can. However I would like to quickly focus on your health so you can improve the health of your little fuzzy's life.

National body challenge is a FREE, comprehensive, fitness and weight loss challenge that will help you shape up and shed pounds. Get a 2 week FREE membership to bally total fitness and lots more!

'Do you want to get help in breaking bad habits? Do you want the tools necessary to adopt healthy living? do you want to apply those teachings to your canines well being? Do you want to prevent canine diseases such as liver or kidney damage or disease, cancerous skin lesions, cancer, hair loss, blindness, leukemia, diabetes, immune deficiency syndrome, splenic, stomach, and liver cancers, and a host of allergies and diseases?

I do want to clarify an important point: National Body Challenge is not about losing weight; rather, it’s about learning to live healthy. Many of you will participate this year in order to lose weight, but others will enter to maintain a healthy weight, and still others will want to tone up. Personally, I’m entering because I wanted to get into a physical routine with yoga, and pilates as well as just pay more attention to what I was consuming.

Did you know that exercise has been shown to help prevent heart disease, stroke, heart disease, and even cancer?

It’s never too late to get the benefits of exercise. You and your pet are never too young or too old to reap the benefits from being active. If you already have some medical problems, exercise can help reduce some of the problems and prevent further deterioration. Along with exercise, proper nutrition can help maximize health benefits even more. Of course, you have to learn the right information.

So go ahead and take a look, I implore everyone to make a plan and fully dedicate yourself for 1 week! After 1 week you will start to understand, and hopefully pick up a few tips and tricks to utilize along the road so you and Fido (or Fluffy) can flourish :)
